Terms of Use

1. Operator

The FitCal app ("the Service") is operated by Verokron. Official contact: fitcal@verokron.com.

2. Service — no outcome guarantee

FitCal is an AI-powered nutrition & activity awareness tool: approximate meal-photo calorie estimation, daily targets based on published formulas, general meal/workout suggestions and an AI chat coach. Results vary substantially between individuals and depend on factors entirely outside our control. Your subscription pays for access to the app's tools and features, not for any promised health or physical outcome.

3. Health disclaimer — read carefully

FitCal is not a medical service and provides no diagnosis, treatment, prescription or medical consultation. This product is not intended for medical purposes. All outputs — including condition/injury-based adjustments — are automatically generated general educational content that may contain errors. You must obtain your physician's approval before starting any suggested diet or exercise program, especially with chronic conditions, pregnancy, medications, or if under 18. Where the app's suggestions conflict with your physician's advice, your physician's advice prevails; following the app instead is your own choice at your own risk. Meal suggestions may contain allergens — verifying ingredients is solely your responsibility. Plans are built from the information you enter; incomplete or inaccurate inputs make outputs unsuitable, and we bear no liability for that. The app is not for emergencies — call 997 (KSA) or your local emergency number. The app includes an explicit in-app acknowledgment screen which is retained with your account data.

4. Eligibility & account

Minimum age 16; users under 18 require a guardian's knowledge and consent, and the guardian accepts responsibility for such use. You are responsible for accurate information, your credentials and all account activity. You may permanently delete your account in-app at any time.

5. Subscriptions, billing & refunds

A permanent free tier with daily limits lets you evaluate the core features — including AI scanning — before paying. Paid subscriptions are billed exclusively through Google Play / App Store. The subscription is a digital service whose performance begins immediately upon purchase with your express consent; you acknowledge that the statutory withdrawal right under the Saudi E-Commerce Law (Art. 13) does not apply to services whose performance has begun with the consumer's consent. Refund requests go through the store's official refund process and are governed by its policies; you may also contact us and we will review requests in good faith case by case. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled in store settings before the current period ends. Fair-use daily limits apply.

6. Complaints

We receive complaints at fitcal@verokron.com and respond within five business days. This does not prejudice your right to escalate to the competent Saudi authorities.

7. Acceptable use & content

No abuse, limit circumvention, hacking, reverse engineering, resale or automated data extraction. No unlawful, offensive or infringing content in photos, chats or groups; we may remove violating content and suspend accounts without notice. You are solely responsible for content you upload.

8. AI-generated content

Coach replies and analyses are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate despite quality measures. Do not rely on them alone for any health decision. Use the in-app "Report reply" button for inappropriate responses.

9. Intellectual property

The app, design, brand, databases and models are ours or licensed to us. Your data and content remain yours, with a limited license for us to process them solely to provide the service per the Privacy Policy.

10. Assumption of risk, liability & indemnity

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". By using the nutrition and exercise features you voluntarily assume the risks inherent in dietary change and physical exercise. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, nor for damages resulting from disregarding your physician's instructions, failing to consult a physician, inaccurate inputs, food allergies, or use in breach of these terms. Our aggregate liability is capped at the amounts you actually paid us in the preceding 12 months. You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your breach or your content. Nothing herein excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Saudi law.

11. Service changes, discontinuation & force majeure

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the service; upon permanent discontinuation of the paid service we will notify subscribers 30 days in advance and no further renewals will be charged. We are not liable for non-performance due to force majeure or causes beyond reasonable control.

12. General & governing law

We may update these terms (material changes announced in-app before taking effect; continued use constitutes acceptance). If any provision is held invalid, the remainder stays in force. These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the competent Saudi courts have jurisdiction. The Arabic version is authoritative. Contact: fitcal@verokron.com
